Tutoring Expirence
I have helped my 3 younger siblings with their math homework for several years. At my current school, I created a tutoring club where students can access drop-in peer-to-peer tutoring after school. I noticed a need in my school and worked to fill it. I am still running this club after almost a year.
Math Background
As a math tutor it is important to me that I have a solid understanding of the topic. I have taken Math classes in a variety of different settings and schools. I have taken math classes online and in-person and experienced a wide range of teaching styles. I worked independently on supplemental math programs all through elementary and middle school. I am currently in Calculus 2 at El Camino and studying Integrals and Infinite Series.
A Good Student
I am a top student in my school. I am able to do well in all of my classes. I am currently attending DaVinci Connect High School as a junior and dual enrolled at El Camino College. I have also taken dual enrollment classes with UCLA, Arizona State University, and Southern New Hampshire University through my high school.
